For the first time in history, modern people are recreating chainmail from the past to compare it in a friendly competition. And you can be a part of this.

To participate please watch the video and fill out the form. We will write you back by email and tell you how to ship your piece of chainmail to us.

I have made the piece of mail myself.The rings are riveted rings, not butted.The rings are connected 4in1Some rings will get destroyed. That's ok for me.I will send my piece to arrive until the last day of June 2022.

Can we keep your piece of mail after the competition? *

What material is your mail from? *Tell us what you know about the material. We would like to see iron wire and mild steel. Please don't send in stainless steel or spring steel.

What museum piece do you want to be compared with? *Part of the competition is to compare your rings with chainmail in a museum. What museum piece do you want to be compared with?

What size is your piece? *Please try to reach the required size. If you are using very tiny rings, we can make an exception.
